Handmade ornament in the shape of a squirrel, made from an off-white stoneware clay. Various carving techniques are used to create it's features, which are filled in with white underglaze. The squirrel is wearing a hand decorated sweater, using the sgraffito technique, where lines are carved through a layer of colored underglaze. The sweaters are glazed in a transparent glaze, while the rest of the squirrel is left bare clay. A metal hook is fired into the clay, a wax cord is added to hang the ornament.
