Handmade oil bottle, made from an offwhite stoneware clay and glazed in a transparent glaze. Decorated in a pattern I’ve designed on a computer, and made into a screen for printing underglaze on newspaper. The print is then transferred onto the clay by coating both the print and the bottle in a white slib and rubbing them together. Glazed white on the inside. The underglaze used is a light olive color.

Due to the nature and difficulty of the technique the print is not perfect and has a bunch of irregularities.

This bottle (without the metal spout) measures about 18 cm in height and a diameter of 7 cm. The wide part of the body is approximately 14 cm tall.
