Handmade oil bottle, made from a white stoneware clay, decorated in a repeating leaves pattern, made using the sgraffito technique where lines are carved in a layer of (almost) black slib. Parts of the outside are glazed with a clear glaze, resulting in a matte and shiny finish. Glazed in white on the inside.
This oil bottle measures about 16 cm tall (21.5 cm including the metal spout) and a diameter of 6.5 cm. (6 1/4" x 2 1/2")
