Spoon rest made from a recycled stoneware, glazed in a glossy clear glaze. Wheel thrown and altered to accomodate for a kitchen utensil. The surface is decorated with a leaves design using the sgraffito technique, where lines are hand carved through a layer of colored slib or underglaze. Note, the off-white slib is not fully opaque. The rim is left bare clay.
Measures almost 5 1/2" (14 cm) in diameter. Dishwasher safe.
